Figs, pears, and pomegranates

Autumn has a way of making us want to collect, preserve, and enjoy handmade things.

But even if you’re not the lucky owner of a garden, you can still get that same quiet satisfaction from making something yourself.

Paper crafts are perfect for that.

Today’s free printable turns figs, pomegranates, and pears into a simple DIY.

It’s the kind of project that waits patiently for you, until you find a quiet moment in your day to sit down and make something.

No glue-gun panic. No endless supply list.

Just you, a pair of scissors, and a bit of time.
Or you and a big bunch of fellow makers.
The beauty of printables is that they scale from 1 to 100 without breaking the bank.

Let’s start snipping, shall we?

But first …

Materials & Preparation

You’ll need:

• the printed sheet
• scissors
• paper or light cardstock
• a glue stick or tape
• string (if you want to hang them)

How to Make It

Craft table scene with scissors, paper, and cut-out figs, pears, and pomegranates. DIY moment from printable fruit project.

Cut each fruit out carefully.

Or rough around the edges, no one’s grading you ;)

Leave a thin white border if you like that old storybook look.
Cut right on the line and they’ll blend into whatever you use them for.

Ideas for Use and Display

Collage of wooden dining table with rustic chairs, one painted red, decorated with a modern illustrated paper fruit centerpiece featuring stylized pomegranates, figs, and pears in warm red, purple, and yellow tones.

Once your paper fruits are ready, you’ll see how many small ways there are to use them.

Garland: Thread them on a string, hang across a shelf, and call it home décor.

Gift tags: Add a note, a bit of twine, maybe a jar of homemade jam… guaranteed to make someone .

Cards: Fold kraft paper, glue on a pear, and write “Hope your day is pear-fect.”

Table décor: Scatter a few between candles or along the dinner table.

The fruits add joyful pops of colour when the days turn grey.
Tape one to the fridge, slip another into a letter, hang a few near the window, and let the light find them.

If you’re crafting with kids, pair each paper fruit with a real one.
Let them smell, touch, talk: “sticky,” “shiny,” “smells like honey.”

A Craft for the Quiet Hours

Autumn doesn’t last, but the memory of a joyful crafty afternoon will.

Happy Crafting, and see you next Friday,
Gisa
